Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 15, 2026
FacelessShorts ("we", "us") is a content-automation tool that generates
short-form videos and, when you connect an account, publishes them to social platforms on your
behalf. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can remove it.
Information we collect
- Account information: the email address and password you use to sign in.
Passwords are stored only as a secure one-way hash.
- Connected social accounts: when you connect YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok,
we receive and store access and refresh tokens plus basic identifiers (account ID, username
or channel name, and granted permissions). Tokens are encrypted at rest and
are used only to publish content you ask us to publish.
- Content you create: the topics and settings you enter, and the generated
scripts, images, voiceovers, and video files.
- Operational logs: basic technical logs and error messages used to run and
debug the service.
We do not collect your social media password, and we do not read your private messages,
followers, or personal content beyond the account identifiers listed above.
How we use information
- To authenticate you and operate your account.
- To generate videos from the topics and settings you provide.
- To publish videos to the social accounts you explicitly connect and select.
- To diagnose errors and keep the service working.
Service providers
To produce and deliver content, we send the necessary data to these processors:
- OpenAI — generates scripts, captions/hashtags, translations, and images.
- ElevenLabs — generates the voiceover audio from narration text.
- Replicate — optional AI motion (image-to-video) generation.
- YouTube (Google), Meta (Instagram), TikTok — receive the video and its
title/description/tags when you publish to them.
- Hosting provider — stores the application and its database.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Data retention
We keep your account data, connected-account tokens, and generated content for as long as your
account is active or as needed to provide the service. Disconnecting a social account deletes
its stored tokens immediately. Deleting a video removes its generated files.
Your choices and rights
- Disconnect any social account at any time from the channel page — this
immediately deletes the stored tokens for that account.
- Delete any generated video from its page.
- Request full deletion of your data — see our
Data Deletion Instructions.
- Revoke access directly on the platform (Google Account permissions, Meta
Business settings, or TikTok app settings) at any time.
Security
Access tokens are encrypted at rest, traffic is served over HTTPS, and the application requires
authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
Children
This service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above will change accordingly. Continued use
after an update means you accept the revised policy.
